Sin, the Slave Master

There is a power that grips this world and forces it to obey.
It is the power of sin that causes mankind to go astray.
Sin, the slave master, deceives his slaves to surrender their souls.
He feeds their flesh what it lusts for then suddenly he takes control.
For the flesh is evil, it is in opposition to God's will.
Flesh can only lead a man to destruction or a place to be killed.
When the slave master reaches his goal, he receives much satisfaction.
He causes these poor souls to share his future in the final damnation.
Jesus is the only power that can break the bondage of sin.
There is no name greater that can put one in the position to win.
Jesus alone defeated sin and death when he hung on the cross.
We must believe in his victory and claim him as our new boss.
Jesus is truly lord in our lives when sinful behavior decreases.
When we allow his spirit to lead us holiness increases.
We will not be compelled to sin against our God - sin will no longer be our master.
We have been set free by the grace of God; we can now enjoy his green pastures.
Prayer: Lord, release me from the bondage of sin as I believe you are my redeemer. I trust you to protect me and preserve my soul until the end. In Jesus name, Amen.
